Rough planning of northern QLD

We start off in Cairns, shake off the jet lag in a hotel, pick up the camper the next day and start trippin'!

Cape Tribulation, the place where rainforest meets the reef, will probably be the northest we'll go. We've heard the roads northern aren't very accessible with a camper when heavy raining. We'll see some Outback for the first time when travelling to Undara NP. Eventually we'll end up back at the coast, at Townsville. We have no idea how many days this planning will take, but thats part of the adventure, ainnit?

A little bit smaller than we are used to... and probably we'll be glad to have a normal bed when we arrive in Melbourne.

BUT it will be one big adventure!

Bought a new lens for my SLR today. Drove to Rotterdam and saved 120€ whooptidoe. God bless shopping at our northern neighbours. Could still use a tripod, a new bag and maybe some binoculars, if the budget allows it...

T minus 19 Days

Still 19 days to go and lots of things to arrange. Today Elke took a look at the weatherpredictions, doesnt look too good. Gladly they only counted untill the first of november, lets hope things clear up when we're there!
